Chocolate Tahini Granola

Brekkie-ready for the week ahead, with this choco tahini granola. It’s so delicious and not super sweet.

I definitely prefer food prepping over meal prepping. If you don’t know what food prepping is 👉 it’s when you prep elements to meals (like bulk cooking beans and legumes) making it easy to throw meals together during the week. It allows you to personalise each meal you eat easily during the week, whereas meal prep is already portioned out meals.

Food prepping so much more flexible because
1. some days you are more hungry than others and
2. who wants to eat the same meal everyday?

Chocolate Tahini Granola

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup coconut flakes
  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds
  • 2 tablespoons cacao
  • 4 tablespoons melted coconut oil
  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • 4 tablespoons coconut nectar or other liquid sweetener
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the over to 150°C. Combine all of the ingredients into a mixing bowl, the spread out on a lined baking tray.

  2. Bake for 30 minutes, mixing the granola half way through the bake.

  3. Allow to cool and store in an airtight container for the week ahead.
