Oatmeal Smoothie Bowl

Yes, you read correctly, cooked oats in a smoothie. When I saw this idea from @mynewroots yesterday (thank you Sarah) there was no way I wasn’t going to try it because smoothies and oats are some of my favourite things and this stormy weather is perfect for it.

Oatmeal Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 1/3- 1/2 cup hot oatmeal
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 2 teaspoons cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup coconut cream
  • 1/3 cup hot water

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high. Serve with whatever toppings you like. I used peanut butter, granola and banana.
